A rare blood disorder, hemophilia occurs because of the reduced ability of blood to clot. It prevents blood from clotting normally. People who have this disorder tend to bleed a lot, even in case of a small injury. When there is a serious dearth of the clotting protein, the body might undergo internal bleeding, especially in the ankles, knees, and elbows. It can be dangerous for other tissues and organs, too; it can even prove fatal. The symptoms of hemophilia and its treatment options are interlinked. Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a condition that occurs when a blood clot occurs in the vein(s) of the body. The clots primarily occur in the lower leg or thigh. However, they can form in any other area of the body as well. Those who have had DVT are also at risk of developing post-thrombotic syndrome in future. Here are the five common symptoms of deep vein thrombosis: Swelling in the leg One of the most common symptoms of DVT is swelling in the thighs and legs. Usually, the swelling initiates in the calf and affects one leg. Over time, it may become severe and painful. Skin discoloration There might be visible variations in skin color right over the affected vein. These color changes can be backed by swelling, redness, and/or pain in the area. More than half of women develop a urinary tract infection (UTI) at least once in their lifetime. Although developing a UTI is not unusual, it is a serious issue and requires immediate action. If the UTI is left untreated, the symptoms will aggravate. At times, the symptoms can cause excruciating pain, followed by other severe complications. Nasal polyps develop as fleshy swellings, which grow along the nose’s lining. These are non-cancerous growths, and may be variable in size. You can see them as a pink or yellowish-brown outgrowths, which may look like teardrops. With time, they take the shape of a grape on a stem. Polyps can develop in one or both the nostrils. They grow individually, but can even surface in clusters. Usually, you will experience the symptoms and warning signs when a singular polyp is unusually large or starts growing in clusters. Sinusitis can be followed by a few other symptoms, such as facial pain; toothache; pain in the jaw, especially while eating; feeling of tenderness around the infected area; headache, which aggravates when you shake or rotate your head; and high fever.

Many women do not experience any symptoms of cervical cancer initially. However, in a few others, the signs show in initial stages. When cancer aggravates, the symptoms become more severe, depending on the organ or tissue the cancer has spread to. Below is a list of some early warning signs and symptoms of cervical cancer. If you are experiencing any of these, then you must immediately seek medical help.   Pelvic pain Pelvic pain or lower backache is often associated with issues in reproductive organs. However, if the pain is persistent and does not seem to go away even after rest, then it can be a symptom of cervical cancer. If pain is felt around the appendix, then it could mean that cancer has reached an advanced stage. Foul-smelling vaginal discharge If the discharge has a foul smell and is watery or brown, then it can be a warning sign of cervical cancer . You need to be watchful, and check whether the vaginal discharge is milky white or clear, or completely foul-smelling. Abnormal discharge is common in some women and might not be a symptom of cancer. So, it is best to visit a doctor and seek medical assistance.
